Free SEO Software Download

Not too long ago we witnessed the launch of the new, F-R-E-E Traffic Travis 3.0, to amazing success. Thousands of people have seized the opportunity and downloaded this outstanding tool, and they’re already using it to gain an edge over their competition in the search engines.

If you haven’t downloaded it already, then you should be aware that your competition probably has. Ask yourself — Do you really want to be giving them a head start using this? Or are you wanting to be ahead of the game yourself?

Here are just some of the tools you’ll find inside. Remember it doesn’t cost anything, it’s FREE!

  • Page analysis: Almost like having an SEO expert look at your webpage and tell you what you are doing right, and what you are doing wrong. This tool does all that, and then gives you solutions for improving your on-page SEO! Oh, it also gives you a grade. Are you an A+ student, or is your site going to flunk?
  • Position ranking: Keeps a daily, weekly or monthly record of exactly where your website is ranked for any search term. Check all the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN Live, Ask and Altavista) and see whether you’re going up in the search engines … or down.
  • Keyword finder: A cutting edge keyword finder tool to give you a huge number of relevant keywords.
  • Keyword sorter: An essential keyword sorter tool that enables you to categorize extremely large lists of keywords into targeted adgroups for PPC purposes.
  • Top sites for keywords: Quickly find all the top sites for your various keywords… then analyze them to see if you can steal some of their tricks.
  • Backlinks to site: Who is linking to you? Who is linking to your competitors? What pagerank are they? What anchor text are they using? Checking all this information by hand would be a full-time job, but Traffic Travis does it with just one click. And by analyzing your competitors with this tool you can find other great sites to buy/trade links with.
  • Keywords/details: Discover how many advertisers are advertising on each keyword and whether there’s a heavy turnover in advertisers. This could mean that the keyword isn’t as profitable as everyone thinks!
  • Top sites for keywords: Who are the biggest players in your niche? Which keywords are they bidding on? Suss out who your major competitors are, and then analyze their campaign. After all… they must be making money…
  • Websites Keyword list: A more indepth keyword snooping tool… this shows you whether competitors keep advertising on a particular word, or whether they drop it periodically. (Consistently advertising on a keyword means it must be really profitable!) This tool also easily shows ad ranking position, so you can see which positions seem to work the best…

There’s loads more, I could go on all day. But it’s probably more interesting for you to go and download it and see for yourself! After all… it doesn’t cost anything!

If you delay and regret it later, don’t say I didn’t recommend that you do this now :)

The Difference Between a Long and Short Tail

Long tail is a big buzzword in marketing these days. The term “Long Tail”
was initially coined in 2004 by Chris Anderson in an article in Wired magazine.

The term was initially used to describe the niche business strategy that is
used by companies like Amazon.

Marketers are now using the term to describe the phenomenon that “long
tail keywords” could get more traffic combined than the broader, more
general keywords. For example, let’s say the keyword “dog training”
gets approximately 2,420 searches per day.

Then you start looking at the long-tail keyword phrases for that niche
– dog training collars, dog potty training, dog training careers, and
so on. When you add up all of the long-tail keywords, which are easier to dominate in the Google SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages), it equals more traffic than if you simply went after Dog Training.

If you have 10,000,000 websites competing for the term “dog training,”
but only 361,000 competing for “dog training DVD,” then you have
a far greater chance of reaching the first page than you would if you were competing against 10 million pages.

Long Tail Keyword Research Software.

Being ranked number one for a broad term like “mp3” would probably
take a truly exceptional SEO expert many months of very hard work and a very large budget for buying backlinks to accomplish.

Ranking for a term like “1970s rock mp3s” might be much easier
– because it’s a long tail. If the term gets 50 searches per day,and you rank number three, then you might get 20 or 30 hits to your website per day.

If you rank number 30,714 for the term “mp3,” you won’t get any traffic from that at all. Finding good long tail keywords is very important, because you need those long tail phrases to bring in traffic.

While some marketers shun long-tail keywords, believing they have to rank well for the prime keyword phrases, others are using it to reach a demographic that has money in hand. Would you rather get traffic from people searching the word “golf” or from someone who types this into Google: “R580XD Titanium Driver?”

The person who gets more specific with their searches is usually someone who’s ready to buy – someone who knows what they want. The person typing in golf may want to know its history for a project, might want to take a golf vacation, or could be interested in attending a local tournament. That won’t do you any good if your site sells golf clubs, but the long tail phrase will cater
to that crowd.

Pick your keywords and phrases carefully. Separate your broad, generic terms from your long-tail phrases so that you can monitor your Google SERP positioning and see how your keyword list is performing for you.

One keyword research tool that I have been using for several years that comes highly recommended for finding long tail keywords and dominating marketing niches is Micro Niche Finder.

Not to brag too much, but Microniche Finder has helped me achieve 1st Page Ranking in the SERPs for the following niches and keywords. (These are just a few examples, but there are many more.) As you can see, these are not off the wall long tail keywords that no one uses.

1. Website: Stock Market Software - (www.stockmarketbot.com) – listed for over a year straight now, has achieved high as #1 ranking; currently on Page 1 Yahoo, Page 2 Google, Page 1 Bing

  • Keywords Targeted – “stock market software”
  • Rank #10 out of 184,000,000 results (Yahoo)

2. Website: Personal Security Equipment - (www.silverfoxsecurity.com) currently listed on Page 1 in Google & Yahoo and Page 2 in Bing:

  • Keywords Targeted – “personal security equipment”
  • Rank #5 out of 36,700,000 results (Google)

3. Website: Bet on Fights(www.usaufc.com) currently listed Page 1 Yahoo, Page 2 Bing and Page 3 Google.

  • Keywords Targeted – “bet on fights”
  • Rank#2 out of 113,000,000 results (Yahoo)

The results above are pretty typical for most websites I build and were achieved without using black hat seo tactics and without trading a single link. Target the right keywords, perform on site SEO, and always use the main keywords you are targeting in the website’s title tag.

This can be done without a great deal of effort in a minimal amount of time, but ONLY if you target the right keywords
